bow building class
« on: November 05, 2010, 04:17:00 PM »
Anyone now where there may be bow building classes near south mississippi, or anyone that builds bows and may want to share ideas on bow building. I have built a few and would like some hands on experience with someone that knows more than me.

Call Mark Horne at Hornes Archery,I know he isn't close to Miss.,but maybe he can set something up for you.I attended one of his classes and learned quite a bit. He's a sponsor here at TradGang.

I would rather take a class on wood but, fiberglass would be nice to. I have not found many people around here that shoot traditional, much less build there own bows, other than the bow shop owner in lucedale. I am looking forward to the traditional shoots that start up around feb., or march.

Eric Krewson, I am not against a road trip, as long as the bowyer is not in canada!
