i have been without internets for the past week , so i had to get creative. pat catans had a giant spool of natural color artificial sinew , which is making a fine bowstring , and the other craft store had some brightly colored turkey feathers (or large feathers i should say , im not sure they are turkey) , and some superglue , a few dowels from a walmart just to try em , and i have a few arrows that work just fine. the superglue is much nicer than trying to bind the whole thing with artificial sinew itself , cause there were large bulbs of string that ended up unraveling anyways...
it was all just a test , as i havent attatched the handle to my bow yet , nor finished it in any way , so the arrows got chewed up on the really wide handle i have right now.
beside the string biting the dogballs outta my wrist , everything works just peachy.
im halfways inclined to find some local amish and see if i can get some turkey secondaries...
