Finishes
« on: November 14, 2010, 10:19:00 AM »
I have seen the OLDER Bighorns of the "Asbell" era. They had a matted almost pebbled textured finish. How can I get a finish like that? I have some older bows that I would like to dull the gloss on the limbs [3-pc TD  w/metal risers]I am going to use the pebbled finish stucco like stuff from Wally World on them but wanted just a clear for limbs. Any suggestions?

I think the texture comes from holding the spray gun farther away on the last coat of finish.
