Hickory Selfbow question
«

One limb has a reflex while the other is straight. Would the reflex be better as the bottom or the top limb or does it matter? Also, I'm not planning to back the bow, what should the thickness of my tips be? Thanks

You will be better served to build your bow "as it stands in the tree" regardless of one limb being reflexed over the other. Tips 1/2" wide by 1/2" thick is pretty common............ART

1/2" isn't to thick if you teardrop the tip's profile instead of just squaring things up......ART

That's a tough tiller. I'd use some dry heat and reflex the deflexed limb. Jawge
