Made several glass backed bows and was thinking about trying this style of bow but upon seeing this I think I will stay with the glass backing and leave this to the experts. Sorry about your bad luck and glad you weren't actually shooting the bow. Bows breaking at full draw is a scary thing with a broadhead at the end.

Started another bow of the same material.This one has one limb 1" longer than the other.

Have it to 5" of brace. Being optimistic, I glued bocote tip overlays, handle and a grip overlay.

I'm going to cut a shelf into this one and thought the grip overlay might help support it a little better.

Please Santa let me complete this one.
