Lemonwood?

Hey just was wondering about this wood for selfbows ive heard about it alot in laminated bows but not much for just the plan selfbow.

Ever used it? and what does it compare to in other woods? Fast, Smooth, Takes lots of set?? etc...

IV GOT SOME IT S EXPENSIVE AS ALL GET OUT IV MADE SOME LAMINATED TRI LAMS USED IT ON BELLY WORKED GOOD  AND A COUPLE LONG BOWS  WANT THE TRUTH I WOULDNT WASTE THE MONEY  ID USE OSAGE OR YEW ANY DAY BEFOR LEMON WOOD  IT S NOT ALL THE OLD TIMERS HAD IT CRACKED UP TO BE BUT WAS JUST WHAT WAS POPULAR AT THE TIME BUT IT WILL MAKE A NICE BOW  JUST TOOO EXPENSIVE FOR MY TASTE S  BROCK

It makes a great belly wood,  before glass it was used in production bows... unbacked.  

I have some, the reason for the expense is it's no longer found in the US.  I think most of it comes into Canada from Cuba.  We can purchase it from Canada.
