This showed up on my driveway

So I called my only traditional buddy in town who is always looking for potential bow wood for me thinking he left this on my driveway. He said he had no clue what I was talking about. Looks like paper birch and from TBB it says it can make a bow. 2" wide and 68" long. My question is who put in on my driveway haha?!?! I don't have a clue who would leave this on my driveway and other than that know what bow wood would be good to use other than 1 guy in town.
So if you know anyone who has ever made a bow out of paper birch let me know because now I'm interested.

I tried a couple self bows from kiln dried boards and they didn't work.....rather impressive explosions too. It looks pretty and seems like it should work, but make sure you back it with something.
