OBG, I used a scrap of 2X4 and screwed it perpendicular to one of the wall studs. I did shape the top of the 2x4 into a V so that it fits into the deepest portion of the bow grip. I then screwed a pulley into the floor, ran a cable through it. Attached to the end of the rope is a carabiner, which is attached to my bow scale, which then clips onto the bow string. On the other end of the rope I have an old two-handed handle attached. This setup allows me to work on any shaped bow handle, stand away and access the tiller etc.
