Osage drying.

I know with osage you are supposed to cut it and split it into staves and either leave all the bark and sapwood on or take it down to heartwood. Can you dry osage by getting it into a floor tillered stave and letting it dry for a week from there like you can white woods?

It will take more than a week.  I have pushed it with a hotbox to less than 2 weeks but if you are air drying, I'd give it at least a month.
Take a kid hunting!
