Old Bear Magnesium A handle string?
« on: February 18, 2008, 11:39:00 AM »
For all you bear shooters out there..
What string length do i need for an old Bear A handle with #1 limbs?

Does the standard 4 inches shorter than bow lenth apply?
When a hunter is in a tree stand with high moral values and
with the proper hunting ethics and richer for the experience, that hunter is 20
feet closer to God.

That combination is 56" AMO. 52" string. This rule of thumb works on every bow I ever owned except an old Herter's TD- its 62" and uses a 56" string. Hope this helps.         Grant
