Grip / arrow shelf shaping...

Would like to see some pics of differing grip and arrow shelf so that I can get an idea of how and where to begin on getting mine done.

Very nice!!  I guess my next question is...does the shelf have to be located at the center of the bow?  I think that might just be a dumb question because I don't know why it wouldn't.

i usually put mine 1 to 1 1/4" above center

I put my shelves 1" to 1-1/4" above center. I try to put the deepest part of the grip in the center.

Flyboy....    I recently did a buildalong that included a specific section on how I cut in a shelf.   That section is way down toward the bottom of the whole page, but has a pretty good set of step by step pix:
