Wool for MI Deer Rut Hunting?

Thanks to all. I like my Filson stuff, am considering just the Outfitter Liner/Jacket as it's the heavy wool w/o the double cape, probably enough for rut hunting & for bitter cold, I've got my Cruiser already. Still researching all options, though.
