ML Campbell Krystal users help

For those of you who use or have used Krystal, what would cause a hint of milky in the finish? I sprayed it before on a bubinga riser and it looked fine nice color rich and clear but the last bow I sprayed has a lighter color to it and the wood is from the same piece of wood, it looks more like a salmon color. The finish has a hint (milky-ness) in the clear coat.

High humidity perhaps? When did you spray your bow?  Art

This past week was the bow that has the issues, the other bow that turned out fine was at the end of the summer.

I use this finish on my cabinet jobs because it's so tough. I have never had this problem with it but have with other finishes like lacquer and it was a humidity problem. Might have been some moisture in the wood or oil not letting it dry or setup underneath. Don't know what else it could be if you find out the problem let us know.

If you don't have a good dryer/seperator on your air line it is probably moisture comming from your compressor. Also if you drain your compressor tank beforehand it will help. Check that out and let us know.

I do have a water filter/seperator on my compressor. Talked to a tech and he thinks I am putting too much on at one time and not enough time between coats. We'll see, I have a game plan.
