Bow oven-did I mess up?
« on: March 07, 2011, 11:55:00 AM »
I got my box just about ready to put insulation in it. I made it 78" X 13" X 30" inside dimensions. I used some 3/8" and 7/16" plywood I had laying around, kind of a patch work quilt thing   :D . Should I try to make it 88" or will 78" work. I will probably make some 66" bow later but am going to do some 64" right now, all glass.   Thanks, Don

Thanks Roy, that's what I was hoping. I am going to put my lights in, and insulate her up, in a little while. Thanks again, Don

All you need is to be able to fit a bow or stave inside.

I built a oven the other day and made it 7' got a hickory bow in it now waiting on a finish.
I hope to get a form built and try a bow in it soon.
