Donation for the Tenn. Classic
« on: March 10, 2011, 04:29:00 PM »
I put this set together especially as a donation for the Tennessee Classic coming at the end of April. The bow is heat treated locust Eastern Woodland style bow with single side nocks and pulls about 40#. This bow has a hand rubbed bear grease finish. The arrows are self nocked hill cane with Eastern Woodland Two Fletch tied on with sinew, three of the arrows have target points and the fourth has an obsidian head hafted with pitch glue and sinew wrap. All sinew wraps are sealed with pitch varnish. The quiver is a Woodland style basket quiver with braded sisal shoulder strap.
If you are coming to the Classic this year, bring your bucks and come fill my jar. All proceeds go to Twin Oaks to help support the Tennessee Classic.

Thanks guys. I like to do this for shoots I go to each year to help support them. As much as Pappy and the Twin Oaks gang do before and during the Classic, this is just a drop in the bucket. Bring your wallets, Kris and Pearly.

Nice set Pat. I can't wait to see it. Gotta make it past OJAM first, then off to the classic. See ya there. I bet I do a little biddin on that set for sure.

Beautiful set, Pat. The two-feather fletchings are intriguing. It is a wonder you didn't leave a finger or two stuck in those somewhere - LOL. Whoever wins that set will be in tall cotton, and what a nice gesture you've done for Pappy and his hard working crew down there.
