easiest... probably TruOil.   Lots of us use it.  Easy to apply and dries quite fast.  I use four coats.   I apply with a folded paper towel and hang in the shop with a floor heater blowing on it (my shop is 60 degrees).  It dries in a couple of hours.  I buff out the first two coats with a buffing pad on my Mouse sander.  Apply any writing on the second coat.  Final coats I hand rub with chino cloth.  Depending on the riser wood, I may give more dry time to the first two coats.  You want to make sure it's dry on the riser.  The limbs will tend to dry faster.  Gives a nice finish that seems to last pretty well.  Not as hard as the spray finishes or heavier coat epoxy finishes, but definitely in the easy category.

I agree with Dick 100%. Easy to use, looks great and is easy to refinish. Doesn't cost too much either.  Bob

Once you get used to it, the epoxy finish is top notch. Super tough and very nice looking too. I buy it in quantity and repackage it for resale. I do so because I like this product. If not, I could resale any of them.
