Heat treat a finished bow???

I have a hazelnut bow that I have finished. I put a tung oil finish on it. But being my first try at a selfbow I should have heat treated the limbs to straighten them a bit. Can I still do this or is it too late? thanks, David

I use the tongue oil you wipe on, let sit for 6 or 7 minutes and buff off. I have heat treated a couple bows like that and never had a problem with the finish.

I've heat-treated bows after they were finished with tung oil, but I did a light sanding on the belly with 220 grit first.
