Brace Height
« on: April 15, 2011, 12:42:00 PM »
I read on this forum that using a long string too much while tillering can put undo strain on the fades as well as reduce target weight.  My question is this.  After completing a bow, will less brace height create the same condition compared to a higher brace height?

Thanks

Emmett

The string angle the long string creates is the killer. Your actual braced bow, slightly high or low wont hurt anything but your tune. The long string pulls your tips down, the short string or finished string pulsl down and in.
