I'm in the process of refinishing a longbow of mine and would love to top it with a frost finish, any ideas ?

Im not sure how its done officially. I hold my can of satin at least 12" away and give it a light, fast cover. It usually has that bumpy spattered appearance after it dries. I like it.

I second pearl drums recommendation. Short bursts will give you the frosted effect with can satin urethane.
