Actually, just came back from a woods walk/stump shoot. Beautiful day if it weren't for the gusting to 40 mph winds. The sun has a lot more strength now however, so the wind is bearable. Got my longbow hittin' where I'm lookin' with the old cedars so it's onward and upward from here 8^).

Nice looking bow and arrows George D.
It won't be until maybe the end of May before I get into the woods. Way too much snow (that dirty 4 letter word) lol.

I was out yesterday on my property in the Ozark Mtns. I was intending on getting on one of my stands and hopefully getting a shot at a doe, we still have until the end of Feb., but the temp was about 28 degrees and the wind was pretty stout. So instead I just still hunted around for about 4 hours. I had the most fun trying to sneak up on grey squirrels, and although I didn't even get a shot off, except for a few stray leaves that needed to be killed, I had a blast. Just getting out and enjoying the woods was enough for me. I guess the older I get the more I am starting to GET it. I hope to get out even more in the following weeks. BOB
