Ok so quick question. if I put skins on a bow snakeskin, fish whatever is there a sealer one uses to put over the skin to seal it or is it just a glue on and the skin stays exposed?

I use Tru-Oil on all my bows and over skins when applied.

I just put Tru Oil, no super glue was necessary.

I've used tru oil on my skins and have had a problem with the finish on the skin side. If you run your fingernail down the skins the tru oil kind of flakes. Its hard to explain. My neighbor(dvshunter) has had the problem on a couple skins. I don't know why but if anyone has any experience with this I would love to hear why this is happening
