Which wood for copperhead skins??

Well I had 1 skin then floated the creek yest and managed to get another... soooo noooow the real question which wood combo would look good.(laminated longbow) my plan is to use carbon in this one as well. sooo what ya think?

You don't want put a set skins like that on a lam bow, you need to just send them to me and I'll stick them on a piece of snaky OSAGE!

thats actually what i was thinkin.... but i kinda wana do a lil diff. combination besides the usual... maybe like an osage/rosewood or something?

You do want a lighter wood color under the Copperhead skins. They are real thin and will lose a lot of their magic over dark wood by blending in.

Brandon I bet some osage veneers on the back and belly with rosewood riser and some rosewood and osage accents would look sharp with them skins. Osage and rosewood actually sounds like a pretty sweet combo.
Maybe an osage stripe in your rosewood riser with some rosewood overlays on the tips.
Man I'm getting a picture in my head that is making me drool...........
