You can wipe or brush it on. I have finished self bows by brushing on t-bird then wet sanding and polishing it to a gloss finish.
I didnt miss, thats right where I was aiming

Don, I have an article that gives step by step instructions on how to wipe on Thunderbird.  PM me your address and I will email you a copy.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I have yet to be treated so poorly in the traditional archery world than by the thunderbird folks.

Called to ask for advise and was talked down too, and just hung up.   Good luck with it.

Mark, I agree with you, they have the poorest customer service I have gotten in a long while.

I got tied up with the ST. Jude's auction tonight (the work just started for me), I will try to find the article by Tim Ziegler and get it to you tomorrow evening.

For those interested in thunderbird but unsatisfied by their service...give Big Jim a call. He has the same finish under a different name...and he will treat you right.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

I dont use T-bird now but when I did I never had any service issues. Very good stuff but it got way too many $$$. Am now using Krystal. Twice as much for 2/3rds the money. And it dries ALOT quicker.

Don,
I finally found the article! It should be in your email box.
