i used "zap a gap" super thin wicking type ca for a repair/refinish i did on an indian archery flatbow. i also used syringes that you can get from the pharmacy. some will say to just use dollar store ca glue and others will say to use loctite 420, which is a wicking type ca. the guys that refurbish old bows that hang out in the trad history/collecting forum say that there is a difference. i figure, why not pay a little extra and get the wicking type. that being said, if it's for holding a wrap in place or for gluing on tips, use the inexpensive stuff and save the wicking type for what it's meant for, getting down into small cracks. jmo. don
