Dansville.. it is! Lets start early on the 17th. The best bet would be for me to meet you at the US127 Kipp rd (mason exit) then you could follow me to my place.  Theres a Meijer gas station right there. Arwin.. does this sound ok? We can make lunch at my place or stop in at the wooden nickel... Its all good!

Dansville is just east of Mason and south of Williamston.  It is probably 20 minutes from I-96 & 127 on the southeast side of Lansing.

For those coming via I'96, the Dansville exit is Exit 117.  South to Dansville and we'll need directions from there!

I hope my plans remain clear for that day so I can join the hunt!!!  I'm in Mason, just south east of the Kipp Road exit, and Dansville is a close neighbor.  Last year, somebody brought a pot for boiling dogs (not the beagles).  I'd be glad to bring a bag of chips and some CocaCola and a package of Ball Parks from Sam's.  They have either a 2 or 3 pounda package.  I MAY have a memorial service to take care of that day, so others better be ready to provide, too.

Is the launcher/flu-flu gonna be there????  That was better than the non-existant bunnies last year.  Even better than all the stumps we frightened.

That sounds awsome.  I am looking forward to it I cant wait.  Jacob, just to make sure I go south on 127 from 69 correct?  I know the area a little but not a lot.  I also talked to a guy that I work with that shoots and he is up for it to.  I am not sure but I think we should maybe start a new thread.  I was thinking I could make chilli and throw it in a crock pot and bring it along or the Wooden Nickel sounds good to.  See you all in Dansville.

Talk to you soon...Tim

Shoot!  :banghead:  I had the 17th off until I traded it for the 24th. On the 24th I run the MTB Winter Banquet. Having a job where your days off rotate every week, stinks! I rarely have any weekend days off.
I went out last week on thursday and saw TONS of rabbits. This comming Sunday(11th) is a rabbit hunting contest here in Maple Rapids and I do have that day off so I'll be there.
Years ago when I ran with a group of guys that ran snowshoe hares a lot up by Houghton lake, we would take all kinds of food like chili, goulash, sandwiches and such, and stop in the middle of our hunt and have a feast using a camp stove on the tailgate of our trucks!
This is a great idea and lets get together more like this for all kinds of things like rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, etc....

I just got off the phone with a couple other Greenville stick shooters and the 17th sounded like a great plan.  We will confirm how many are going the closer we get to the 17th. At that time we will also know what we are bringing to eat.

2-Big, maybe you can send a proxy in to work for you   :biglaugh:

Looks like a great get together.  Unfortunately my daughter has a swim meet on the 17th so I can't make it.  I have spent a lot of time hunting in the Dansville area when I lived in Lansing.  The Wooden Nickle always had good food, too.

You guys be sure to post results from the hunt.

Tim, I see you are in Holland, I live in West Olive and work in Zeeland.  If you are interested in shooting or something, PM me and I will get you contact info.
