string
« on: August 02, 2011, 04:08:00 PM »
Hi, I am sort of new to all this in traditional bows. I have an archery traditions recurve, and on one end of the bow it has cut two different strings on the string loop.

The string is cut quickly but have a good number of shoots it is cut

Not sure the exact cause or the cure. What should I do?

You definitely have an edge that needs cleaned/rounded up. But also check that curve and make sure it's not twisting on you when you draw the bow. You could have some sawing/cutting action going on if the tip is twisting......Art
