thin veneers

i was looking at some .024 thin veneers the other day and i was wondering if i could use them on top of my lamination under clear glass?

thanks i thought it would work. do i just count them as part of my stack height or should i not count them as much towards my stack height and lbs?

Sometimes I worry about how smooth these veneers are? Does the glue stick well even if you don't rough them up?
