new bow zebra and coco, Almost done with video...

After my last in cracked in the shelf this one has a LIL meat to it.... Just sanded and cleaned up a LIL bit.  What ya think  limbs are zebra.....

Nice job!
I think the changes you made will give this bow a better chance for survival! Did you get any blemishes under the clear glass over the flat grain zebrawood? I've done one with f.g. zebra and it's the only bow I've made that had blemishes under the glass. It's still holding after three years and the blems haven't grown. Think it was from the oil in the dark grain.

I actually have one small spot I plan on drilling and filling with super glue... Yea I've been wanting a new bow and I do believe it will be zebra LOL....

back view of the finished grip... not touching it any more.... now its time to ease the limbs in... got to shave 5lbs....

I'm thinking just trap them a bit huh?

ok well here is my 54 in design its at 49 @27 53@28 which is a lil bit high but got her shooting. What you guys think of her?

Watch the volume.. its kinda loud forgive the shelf hits the nock isn't set in stone yet..

That's a very nice looking bow, Brandon! I wish my form was as good as yours! The only thing I see that may become an issue later on is it looks like there is a lot of work going on at the end of your fades. May cause stress lines in the future, maybe not. Time will tell. Great job though! I'm sure you are planning your next one already!! Mike

Thanks Mike. This is a .003 total taper I've built one with .004 and this bow is a lot more smooth.  I will put a plam in my next one to help push it out a bit... One mod at a time lol
