ONE SHOTS LATEST BOW
« on: February 20, 2008, 09:24:00 PM »
This Recurve Bow is similar in Design to the old style Indian Bow. It is the third Bow that I have made using this Design, with My own modifications added.

It is 64" NTN 37#@28" Draw, the limb Laminations are from Woods that I cut the tree down Myself just like I do on almost all the Bows I make. They are Shag Bark Hickory .075" thick Parallel under .040" Black "F" Glass on the back. Tapered .105" Shag Bark Hickory and .075" thick Osage parallel under .040" Black "F" Glass on the Belly.

The riser is a combination of Pin Oak side plates, Red Cedar under the Pin Oak, and Shag Bark Hickory Center section. Osage tip overlays, and Shag Bark Hickory underlays at the tips on the Belly side. Also Osage overcap on back of Riser.

Pictures will follow, hope you all enjoy viewing them....ONE SHOT...

I agree with Fatman, we need to see her fling some arrows on Saturday.

Yes I will bring this Bow to shoot on Saturday,  along with four or five more that I have made in the past for anyone who might want to shoot them.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know each of you.

I'll bring My BBQ Grill, if anyone else has a small Grill you might want to bring it along also, I'll bring some Vension Burgers for lunch so We won't go hungry while we are practing up on our shooting skills.

Does anyone want to bring some Hamburger buns, ketchut, mustard, potato chips, ETC. I'll also bring some sweet pickles.

Oh yea we will need paper plates and napkins.

Just let Me know so I'll know what other food we might need to purchase at Platte City....ONE SHOT...  :D    :D    :D    :)

I was planning on eating at Cabelas, since we're using their space....
