Anybody Sell Quality Selfbows?
« on: August 15, 2011, 09:27:00 PM »
Hi Gang

I was wondering, I don't have skill (yet) nor the time really to start learning to make my own self bow though it is on the priority list. However, I was wondering if anyone sells them, a sort of commercial self bowyer?

Curt Brisky he operates Brisky Bows he's a sponsor! He builds some really nice selfbows, I've owned one of his takedown Osage selfbows. He's a really nice guy to deal with also.

Dryad USED TO sell bow blanks.  Seems they gave 'em up for ILFs, at least for now.  I hope they make 'em again.  They do sell finished selfbows though.

7 Lakes, a sponsor sells blanks, or finished bows.

Are you wanting a bow blank, or a finished bow?

Wow

Thanks Gang.  A lot of great info.

Chuck, thanks for the info...did a lot of looking my friend!

My problem before this morning was too many choices.......now a different problem $$$$!

It seems thanks to our friend Irene here in the NJ, my family and I woke to over 5" of standing water in what was once a beautiful finished basement, hardwood floors, private gun/bow room, tying bench, flat screens etc etc...

now its all soup...     :knothead:    :help:

Take some of that insurance money and buy yourself a real nice custom bow like a Thunderchild, Zipper, or a Bama Bow. That's what I would do if I lost all my hunting stuff, I'd end up with better stuff than I had to start with.
