Bighorn Limbs - Help with permanent Camo Job
« on: August 19, 2011, 02:21:00 PM »
All,

I have some Bighorn Asbell Era Limbs at the Bow Hospital getting a new limb tip.

There is a chance that the limbs will need to be sanded, at which time they will be sent back to me for applying the finish. I'm kinda thinking about putting camo under the finish on the target side of the limbs, just where the glass is. Not where the limb tips or limb pads are.

Is there anyway to glue on a fabric, pattern, etc then spray overtop? Maybe a camo paint job under the finish?

Let me know if you guys have any creative ideas, that would be permanent and a robust process to do.

Thanks!
Matt

Snake skins are the coolest camo under the sun.
