laminate bow riser backing

Gathering info for my first laminate r/d bow, and none of the plans I have seen nor build-alongs show how to put backing pieces on the riser, on the back of the backing glass. As the back glass is the first thing in the form, does backing wood get glued with smooth on to the glass after the first heat cure? Does the bow need completely recured in the heat box in this case, or will it risk delamination, and only one heat source should be used, like when tip overlays are applied? Advice appreciated.

I don't think many put that piece on in the initial glue up.  only if the form was designed for it and that lam piece was feathered  so there wouldn't be an uneven pressure.  I have a small heat box that I use for that.  Its just a foam box just big enough for the riser area with a couple small light bulbs in it.  The box has a couple slits on the side where the bow limbs fit and stick out the box.  

I am sure it is done several ways.

I do a second glue up for riser and tip overlays.  I use a three lamp hanging system for heat.  Just want to get them warm here.
