Attaching the limbs??? please help!
« on: September 21, 2011, 06:05:00 PM »
So i fixed my ring violation! and now i have it down to one smooth ring. but i have been thinking of different ways to secure my limbs to the handle. i know im not near that point just yet, but i want to know what i am workin towards so i can plan accordingly. if you have any videos, diagrams, or even just a drawing, it would be great if you could share it with me, because i learn a lot better if im doin it or looking at it. i want to go as professional as possible with it, so no wingnuts stickin out looking ugly. haha. i heard that you need 2 pegs/dowels and a bolt in a triangle to secure them. is that the most efficient way to go or even true?

Thanks for all the help and support you guys have already provided me,

JL

When I attempted mine, I ordered a takedown kit from Binghams, that included the threaded insert, bolt, bezel, and pin for the second anchor point.
Step lightly, and shoot a trad bow.
