Thanks for MI Rut Wool Advice!

I followed down all the leads you guys gave me, looked everything over & decided to get two things: 1) A Day One ASAT wool parka w. the Comformax liner, bino holder. Just talked to Day One & this sounded like the ticket so I ordered it. Also 2) Filson Guide Vest. I luckily have a gift cert at a shop that carries Filson, so can add this w/o much pain.

I've been thinking about this for a year+ and leaning toward GW, but when I priced out a GW wool/Comformax coat w. a couple features, it was getting way up in $. The Day One wool is a blend but after researching here & talking to the Day One guy, I think w. the windstopper it'll do until it's time to break out the Filson double cruiser. And it had about all the features I wanted, "stock".

Thanks to all for their input on this, helped push me to finally get 'er done. Review in about 11 months...
