Sticshooter, Does his knifes work?
« on: December 31, 2006, 11:05:00 AM »
Just a little plug for a deserving guy here on this site. How many of us out there has a Sticshooter knife? I for one have a few and they all have been bloodied in the spirit of the hunt. But my last one has a extra special meaning since it worked my Dads kill over. This isn't about the deer or my Dad, But a man on this site that has gave us all the spirit of giving a time or too. Sticshooter I thank you for the knife and your human spirit. Now lets see those Sticshooter knifes....

I have admired his knives and maybe someday I'll have one to try.

He does very beautiful work!

Vic you are so right! Frank has made many of us richer by being able to call him friend.
Here is my favorite sticshooter knife. CaseXX blade with cocobolo and antler.

I won one of Frank's knives in a giveaway and have carried it on several hunts and used it on the second doe I shot this year. Just super people to talk with as well.  After the holidays, I plan on buying one of his other designs.

I absolutely love mine! I wear it everytime I'm in the field. I used to carry several knives and one rather large one but this year, much to my friends suprise, all I needed was the one I bought from sticshooter- three deer, several rabbits, pheasants, 1 badger, some tree rats, 1 greasy grinner, couple coons, 2 antelope and..... oh yeah, my finger!!!
Thanks Sticshooter! This post has made me remember all of the great times I've had and realize I have lots to be thankful for!! If any of you don't have one of these knives, you need one! Mine is made out of Antler and Bocote and came with a great sheath with copperhead skin on the face!

I recently bought one of his Cheater knives and was so impressed that I bought three more (one for me and two for friends).  Frank definately builds knives that work!

Happy New Year Claudia,
I believe I bought a bow from you a couple of years ago...  I hope you had a great New Years Eve, my wife, Lois, and I went to a party just down the road with all of our neighborhood hunting friends..  We got there at 8p.m. and were home by 11p.m.!!!!!  At 59 can't handle those next morning headaches and hugging the head anymore!!!  Sure was fun watching the younger folks on their way to a hurtful Jan. 1..  Take Care,  Jim
