hey fella's is there any advantage in 2" or 1 1/2" lims given the same # .i am building the forms and the plans include both sizes . i am building a take down recurve .thanks for the advise

Did you mean 1 3/4? 1 3/4 for recurve is common.
1 1/2 will work fine. you just need to be on top of the tillering process.

I did a two inch and felt it was to wide.. did not like the way it looked. So now all I build is 1 3/4" take downs. Just need to keep in mind the stack height for weight
