Threadlocker?

I have to ask this before actually doing it,I like take down bows but having to keep checking the bolts for tightness is rather annoying,so the question is would threadlocker be ok to use on the bolts without harming the bow itself?

there is a blue, and a red bottle- one is tougher than the other- i would use the weaker one.

Red is more "permanent" than the blue. Usually requires heating it up to remove. I'd avoid it. Blue hangs on pretty tight. There's also a purple color available that is "temporary". A little bit on blue on the male threads before assembly should hold it real tight after it sets up. If it were me though, I'd put some teflon thread tape (a couple of layers) on the threads first before I tried loctite. Tightening up the tolerance can do wonders sometimes.

Thanks,I'm not really sure what to do,i have read some posts where some folks use string wax on the threads but just doesn't seem to me anyways that it would do much good, but i could be wrong.

Use the bees wax, Why make it permanent if it is a take down? The wax will keep it tight until you want to take it apart.
