Couple more good mornings work and the new bow is looking real good. I'm quite tickled with it, even if it is too heavy for me. It's got a nicely balanced appearance with good limb depth in the boo cores providing a nice contrast with the riser. I'm naming it "Recovery". It's the first one since I was able to get back into the shop steadily. It's my Javelina forward riser pattern, 68" with olive wood outers, lamboo cores and katalox riser with a slightly dished grip. (I've really come to like that grip.) It's showing 51# on my spring scale and 52.5# on the digital. These pix are with the first coat of finish. (I can never resist taking that pic :^) It'll get a brown leather wrap and a brown and black string.
That makes two 50#'ers on my wall. I need to get back to some of my own weight :^)
