Thanks you guys. Here is the only unbraced pic i have right now. Ill try and get a better one up soon.
Keenan. Thanks. I couldnt decide which way to use the skin. I think it would have looked good either way though. I am glad i went with splitting it in half though. If i hadnt been out of town this weekend i could have had a 20ft python
Oh well... Next time.

A great looking bow!
I love using boa and python for skinned bows, it is like getting a rawhide backing that looks really nice.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I agree Walt. I have an albino burmeese that was over 13ft and the skin is thicker than rawhide. This skin wasnt all that thick though.

Most were taken by glenn at his parents house in St. Clair. We went there for a family christmas party. His camera is better than mine by far.

Very nice! Now I have something else to do on my list. Is that a stave bow that you induced the reflex/deflex into? If so I would love to see your form and method on that. All I ever work with is staves but haven't conquered the r/d profile as of yet.

It is a stave bow cut from my farm.
Simple caul drawn freehand and a heatgun to warm it up.

Slick...never seen anything but rattlesnake myself...love the camo effect. Copperhead would look nice too I think...may not be big enough though.

Diamondback. Lots of people use copperhead, but you are right, ot does take a few big ones to cover a bow. I have two big sets waiting for that special bow. Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Scott, the bow lives in moscow mills now. Pretty close to you. All you haveto do is learn to shoot left handed.
