Can you purchase staves?
« on: December 27, 2011, 10:35:00 AM »
Or do you have to cut them down and wait a year? I have finally put together enough hand tools to start trying to make selfbows.

Thanks!

Google Gary Davis. He sells them.

Gary Davis, Pine Hollow and I'm sure there are others. Gary's staves are at better than floor tiller stage and I think Pine Hollow's are just seasoned staves. Both guys are great to work with and either will have quality products.

John Scifres also sells some staves. I'll also send you a PM on a guy you DON'T want to buy from.

Thanks everyone!

Stiks, I appreciate you watching out for me on that one.

I can't wait to get started!
