has anyone ever chased a ring on cherry? i cant find osage anywhere around here, but i have 2 nice cherry trees right behnd my house laying over. anyone know if theyd be a good for a first timer? if so any pics of finished bows?

They will be Steven. With cherry just get the bark off and use the wood under the bark for the back. You shouldn't have to chase a ring.
