Problem Child
« on: February 12, 2012, 09:01:00 PM »
Just finished up this hickory longbow and some arrows. This bow has given me fits. String alignmant, propeller twist, excessive reflex. After ten heat corrections I finally got her dialed in.

After a couple hundred shots she still has over 2.5 inch of reflex.

Here she is at full draw, setteled in at 50 lbs at 28 inches

Looks nice at full draw - nice job.  What do you have on the tips? - can't tell from the pics.
Enjoy the hunt!  - Mitch

Nice looking bow.  I really like the color.  How long is it tip to tip?

Great lookin bow! I really like the color. Its always fun to build a bow from a piece of wood that doesnt  want to be a bow.
