i have found this video on youtube.
it is very interesting construction of traditional bhutanese bow.

pause on 1:00 minute. you will see the handle.

looks like they just wrap two billets together. But very interesting.

The bows really do go agin the grain of our way of thinking and bow making. The bows I saw and shot are made "inside out" and held together with athletic tape. They shot very well though. Good feel and speed, and I would not want to be in front of the guys I shot with. and 140meters they will make you dance. Good lessons to be learned from other cultures.

Fun games too, They are really into the ribbing and teasing/taunting the other team. Much like the Mongolians

They look a lot like the bows Pearl Drums builds..   :laughing:
