well ive been reading up on building a board bow out of my piece of red oak and reaized an issuve.... from reading it seems like red oak board bows arent realy good for long draws. i draw 31" so i feel this may be a problem. but before i do anything elsei thought id ask everyone of there thoughts.
is 31" draw to much for a red oak board bow?
and if so ive considered buildig a flat hill style board, would that be possibe witha long draw?
also i want it to be aroung 50lbs give or take
sorry for the probably dumb questions and thanks,
steven
