Bow for the raffle
« on: February 22, 2012, 07:19:00 PM »
Every year our archery club has a banquet where we have a diner and give out awards for all the animals harvested by club members.
After the awards are given out we give out door prizes and raffle off a few things, one of witch is a bow (normaly a wheely bow).
Last year  we decided to switch it up a bit and do a 3pc. longbow that I built.Well it went over so well that I was asked to build another for  this years banquet.

With help from anoher club member that shaped the riser This is what we came up with....
62" 3pc. longbow
Bacote riser
Figured euclaptuse limbs
49#@ 28"

Those are some nice tips on a set of sweet-lookin' limbs! Well done, sir.  James
Longbows, you see, do not make mistakes…there is no tuning to distract attention from the task at hand or provide excuses when arrows wind up in places we did not ask them to visit.
