I am looking for someone to learn from.
I have the materials and tools but not enough knowledge.

Consider coming up to OJAM in a couple weeks. Just north of OK city. There is a thread about it in the events forum. Some of the finest self bowyers in the country there teaching. A really great event.

if you spend enough time here on the forums looking at different materials you will get the basic knowledge you need to get started then if you ever get hung up or need some more info just post a topic and you should recieve plenty of input

Snakewood is right - OJAM is a great place to learn. I drove home from the Austin area yesterday - we are three and a half hours from Denton. Tommy
