« on: February 27, 2012, 10:28:00 PM »
Well, i finally got one to hold together till the end. Its a 60" Hickory backed Ipe. Its 40lbs at 26" right now, and ill be giving it to my 13 yr old brother. I have been promising to try to make him one, and since this is a little light and pretty short im going to pass it on. Anyways, ill get some pics up soon!

Congratulations! Looking forward to your pictures. One thing; keep an eye on the brother. They build draw length very fast at that age. I was about 14-15 when I busted my first bow....I didn't realize that I had outgrown it and it nearly took an eye out.

Hey that does look fine. It looks smooth and quick. We all say that about our bows, but some bows really do it.

Looking good Kyle! After the trials and frustrations of the first few bows, it sure is a rush to get a shooter.
Dave.
