So, here's what I've got...
Boo backing strip 1/4" in the middle tapering to 1/8" at the tips.
2 Aboo cores also 1/4" tapered to 1/8"
4 parallel 1/8 boo.
Helping my dad make an all boo bow this weekend. We'll be using Urac for the first time, too, with some heat lamps to help the cure.
I was thinking of using one or two of the parallels cut to lengths for a riser, and another for the belly, Aboo in the middle.
We'll be aiming for a 30-40# bow, we can do any length up to 72". Also thought about doing it Hill style with flipped tips to help with the tillering.
Main question is what suggestions you more experienced guys have for proceeding? If we do 68" NTN what should the width be from fades to tips?
Thanks in advance. I'll post pictures after the weekend if all goes well.
