Well, I have been cranking on these for the last two months and these are my first 3 attempts at laminated long bows. All of these have actionwood handle/risers. The wife's was built with "desert camo" actionwood riser, cocobolo on the back and birdseye maple on the belly and was my first build. Not a big fan on the shaping of the grip vs. design the laminations developed and may sand down and touch up some. The other two are both "nutmeg brown" actionwood risers with "angle cut" nutmeg brown laminations on the back and curly maple on the belly. These two have inset army rank in the riser as they were promotion gifts for my dad (COL) and myself  :)  (MAJ). I named them the O-6 and O-4. All have walnut tapers for a core. I thank Kenny at Kenny's Custom Archery for all of the awesome laminations and just placed another order with him. I also thank everyone on this site as I was a "wheelie" shooter prior to December and in 4 months was able to glean enough information from you fine folks to produce 3 very shootable bows. I have actually almost abandoned my production Martin Savannah because my "O-4" is so quiet and smooth shooting. I still have a lot to learn and I have noticed a few flaws in my builds and will be open to any input any of you have in regards to producing a better final product. Thanks again!
