Ace Super Express Flight....
« on: February 24, 2008, 09:08:00 AM »
Hey Gang-
Ill preface this by saying I have never had any issues getting broadheads to fly well. But here I am, stumped and scratching my head...

Long story short; They (175 - Ace Super Express) fly eight inches low and two inches left of my field points... Every freakin' time...

No big deal says I; I move my nock point down. Same thing. Move it up. Same thing. Check the broadheads. Yep aligned perfectly. No wobble. Check the shaft, yup, straight as a, well, arrow...

   :help:

Sorry for my rambling... Thanks in advance...

Okay, Im not going crazy (Yet)...

I went out and shot all of the oversized broadheads I had handy. My ElGrandes, Snuffers, Deltas, and Magnus II - 4's all fly well...

Im scratchin' harder!

Beats me...my 200 gr Super Express arrows fly to the same point of impact as the 200 gr field tips and Hex heads.  I mount them horizontal.  I do try to trim any excess glue that leaks from the ferrule...doubt it makes a difference, though.
